Hi Jason – yeah, those fake related article links are quite annoying, aren’t they hahaha and I think that if the in-text popups really add to your revenue source, then your readers probably aren’t bothered by them, so I’d keep them on too.

It drives me nuts to see the related articles link to some spammy page that gives me 10 million popups with NSFW material.Unfortunately I am guilty of pop up in-text ads – but they are clearly labeled with a double underline. But it gets me additional revenue so I am keeping them live for the moment.Great article – I’ll have to visit again to read some more when I get a free second lol!
