Hi Emmanuel,
I remember when i first started my blog I would have taken any comment that i could get. Now I am happy with with getting comments even if someone disagrees with my post.

I installed LiveFyre which has helped with getting commenters coming back and adding to the conversation.

I have a commenting policy on my blog that isn’t long, but states what is acceptable in terms of comments. I don’t have a problem with marking a comment as spam if I find the person just used keywords in their name, or the comment has been placed on many other blogs.

In terms of negative comments, I will allow such comments, but if it gets out of hand then I will take action to ensure that the comments remain a good place for discussion.

Great post Emmanuel ! I completely agree with your third point, we must know to trackle down the negative comments and give a new shape to the conversation. There may be some people who doesn’t agree with your article’s opinion but you are conveying only your opinion, so be proud of what you are writing and overcome the negative comments :D !
